Privacy policy
This policy covers the Furikku waitlist, which is the only place this site collects personal data.
What we collect
Your email address, when you submit it through the waitlist form. That is the only personal data this site asks for.
Our host also records standard web server data with each request: IP address, timestamp, and browser user-agent string.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
What we use it for
We use your email address to send you email about Furikku: the announcement when it becomes available to buy, and subsequent updates such as order status, shipping, and delays.
We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not send email on behalf of other companies.
Under the GDPR, our legal basis is consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time — see Unsubscribing and deletion.
Where it is stored
This site is hosted by Netlify, and the waitlist uses Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored in our Netlify account, on Netlify's infrastructure in the United States. Netlify acts as our data processor. See Netlify's privacy policy.
If you are in the EU or UK, submitting the form transfers your email address to the United States.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or request deletion. If Furikku is discontinued, or we stop sending email to the list, we delete the list at that point.
Who else has access
Netlify, as our data processor. No one else. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address.
This site loads no third-party resources. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from furikku.com, so viewing these pages does not make your IP address visible to anyone but our host.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold about you.
Under the GDPR (EU and UK), you also have the right to object to or restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Under the CCPA (California), you have the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell personal information.
Unsubscribing and deletion
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
You can also email hello@furikku.com and ask to be removed. We will delete your address and confirm within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If our handling of your data changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will also be sent to the list.
